William R. Tarkett, age 71, a lifelong resident of Hawley died Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at home.
Born February 22, 1950, in Honesdale, Bill was the son of the late Donald E. and Sophie (Savage) Tarkett. A Vietnam veteran, he served in the US Marine Corps from 1969 to 1971. He worked as an associate real estate broker. Bill was a member of American Legion, Wilson-Kelch Post 311, Hawley,
Bill is survived by his daughter: Trisha Tarkett of Castleton, NY, and his brother and sister-in-law: Joseph and Frances Tarkett of Pittsburgh, PA.
Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. He will be interred with his parents at BVM Queen of Peace Cemetery, Hawley.
